NewThreads is able to provide coats, backpacks, and school clothes to Sadie, Pierce and thousands of kids just like them, because caring companies share their surplus inventory with us.  When a single mom and her children transition from a homeless shelter to their own apartment and are able to take with them bedding and bath items from NewThreads, or when an inmate is released from prison with nothing but the clothes on his back and is given a new shirt and slacks from NewThreads, they know that somewhere someone cares about them, and they are deeply grateful.  NewThreads too is grateful to both the local and national manufacturers and retailers that have donated their surplus products to us – apparel, footwear, baby cribs, toys, books, bed, bath, and household items and so many other brand-new products.  We would like to acknowledge for their generosity  the following companies whose gifts-in-kind during 2010-2011 have made it possible for tens of thousands of individuals in need to receive a helping hand during these difficult economic times:
